What to Include in a Last-Minute Cleaning Request

For a last-minute cleaning request, lead with your town, deadline, property details, and the work that matters most. Ask Destiny whether a short-notice request can be accommodated, and confirm timing and scope before making plans. A request does not guarantee same-day service.

Give the real deadline and any flexibility

Explain when the property needs to be ready and why that timing matters. A guest arrival, a move, or a planned gathering may leave different windows for access. Include the earliest time cleaning can begin and whether another day or a narrower scope could still help.

A submitted request is not a confirmed booking. Wait for the cleaner to confirm availability, the agreed work, and arrival arrangements before making plans that depend on the visit.

Describe the property and starting condition

Include your town, approximate size, bathrooms, occupied rooms, and whether the job is residential or commercial. Explain whether belongings, movers, guests, or other work will limit access. Current photos can help when requested, especially if there is substantial buildup or an unusual access issue.

Urgency does not remove the need for a realistic scope. If the work involves damage or a specialized cleanup situation, describe it plainly so a provider can determine whether it is work they can accept.

Separate essential work from nice-to-have tasks

A short window may not allow every task on your list. Identify the rooms that must be ready first, such as a guest bathroom, kitchen, or main living space. Then list the additional work you would like if the agreed visit can accommodate it.

Ask which priorities are realistic within the available time. Do not assume a deep clean or a whole-property move clean can be compressed into a brief maintenance visit.

Confirm travel and access before counting on a visit

Dust Bunnies Cleaning's core service area covers Hillsborough, Merrimack, and Belknap Counties in New Hampshire. Requests farther away are considered based on the job, travel, and availability. Providing the town at the start helps Destiny assess whether the timing is practical.

Once a visit is agreed, confirm how access will work and who can answer questions. Keep keys, alarm codes, and other sensitive instructions out of a public comment or review; arrange those details directly.

A short request checklist

Use the estimate form to share these details, or call or text the number shown on our contact links. Ask for explicit confirmation of availability and scope; an urgent message by itself does not reserve a time.

  • Desired date, ready-by time, and any flexible alternatives.
  • Top priorities, current condition, and access limitations.
